If the tent is properly anchored, it will endure storms. There have even been well-documented cases when the Nordic tipis have survived hurricanes of 35 m/s without being damaged. In winds like that, only the most expensive tunnel tents or domed tents will survive. We admit that the most expensive tunnel tents are possibly slightly better in this respect but the storm-resistance of our single-pole Nordic tipis will be sufficient for most people.
