Over the years, the sphere in which Tentipi works has widened more and more. Now our Nordic tipis are sold all over the world but in order to retain the soul of our products, product strategy planning and development work are still done in Moskosel. In this tiny Lapland village with just over 200 inhabitants, you will find Tentipi’s heart, soul and roots.

It is up here in the regions around the Arctic Circle with its tough climate that for thousands of years, the Sami and other nomadic peoples have used a cone-shaped construction when organizing their homes. It is their well-tried and well-functioning homes that serve as models for our modern Nordic tipis. It is here, surrounded by mountains, lakes and boglands and with our roots firmly anchored in the rich tradition of nature that is present in northern Sweden, that we make use of ancient knowledge and experience in our development work, combining it with modern design features and new technology. In order to continue to be at the front edge as regards the development and quality of our tents, we have set up our own fully-owned production plant in the coastal town of Qingdao in China. Read more here.

So as to be able to give our customers all over the world high quality service and in order to facilitate logistics, we have established our marketing office and warehouse in Sunne in central Sweden. This means a considerably shorter overland journey for our tents made in our factory in China and then shipped to the port of Gothenburg. Read more here.
