• Diagonal zip. If the zip is positioned vertically on the fabric, rainwater will gather and go through.
• Cover. Thanks to the diagonal positioning, the zip cover makes the rainwater pass over the zip without penetrating.

Some safety features:

• Tentipi only uses zips made by the world-leading manufacturer YKK.
• The zip runner can be replaced using an ordinary pair of pliers.
• The buttoning enables makeshift closing if the zip is damaged and also prevents this risk by allowing partial opening on stormy days, for instance.
• Extra full-length hook and loop fastener allows complete closure should the zip be damaged (at an extra cost).

Check whether YKK zips are used. The most common solution is a vertical zip which often has no cover either!
