The door is designed to fall back into place every time someone passes through. This means more warmth and less draught! It is mounted on the outside of the Nordic tipi.

Stratus 72 Brim cross poles
Are positioned close to the edge of the Stratus 72’s brim. Their functions are:
To prevent the brim from sagging in between the nine roof poles. This improves the general appearance and eliminates pools of water. It is done by laying the secondary poles on top of the brim cross-poles.</l......

Stratus 72 Walls
Walls for the Stratus 72 when in open position, with sloping sides that match the Nordic tipi. The walls are hung on to the brim cross-poles (extra accessory) all around the edge of the open brim. The result is a much larger room which is sheltered from the wind.
